Jakarta (ANTARA) – Lembaga Kantor Berita Nasional ANTARA menampilkan 80 karya foto jurnalistik dalam pameran foto bertajuk "Merdeka Berdaya" yang diadakan di Galeri Foto Jurnalistik ANTARA, kompleks Antara Heritage Center, Jakarta Pusat, dari 25 Agustus hingga 25 September 2025.

Pameran yang dibuka pada Senin tersebut diselenggarakan untuk memeriahkan perayaan hari ulang tahun ke-80 Republik Indonesia.

"Kali ini adalah pameran yang pertama dengan menampilkan 80 foto dari karya 45 wartawan foto ANTARA yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia, dari Sabang sampai Merauke," kata Direktur Utama Perum LKBN ANTARA Akhmad Munir pada acara pembukaan pameran.

Munir menyampaikan bahwa pameran utamanya menampilkan foto-foto tentang pelaksanaan program prioritas pemerintah, termasuk Program Makan Bergizi Gratis, Sekolah Rakyat, Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih, serta swasembada pangan dan energi.

"Harapan kami, dari visual gambar yang kami tampilkan ini bisa menambah inspirasi bagi kita semua dan bisa menambah sebuah semangat atau optimisme dari bangsa Indonesia," katanya.

Pameran "Merdeka Berdaya" juga menyajikan foto-foto tentang kearifan lokal, kebudayaan, perekonomian, pelestarian lingkungan, olahraga, pendidikan, serta penggerak perubahan untuk kemajuan bangsa.

Direktur Jenderal Komunikasi Publik dan Media Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital Fifi Aleyda Yahya menyebut karya foto yang disajikan dalam pameran "Merdeka Berdaya" merupakan bukti rekam jejak 80 tahun kemerdekaan Indonesia.

"Kita bisa lihat dari bidang ekonomi, kebudayaan, kelestarian lingkungan, olahraga dan pendidikan semua terekam," katanya.

"Foto itu kan memang tidak bisa digambarkan dengan narasi, walaupun beribu narasi, karena akhirnya memang a picture speak a thousand words (sebuah gambar menyampaikan seribu kata)," kata dia.​​​​​​​

Fifi menyampaikan bahwa foto favoritnya dalam pameran "Merdeka Berdaya" antara lain foto peserta upacara HUT ke-80 RI di Danau Rawa Pening, Kabupaten Semarang, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Foto itu menunjukkan para peserta mengikuti upacara dari perahu.

"Jadi, itu luar biasa menunjukkan kecintaan kita kepada negara," kata Fifi.​​​​​​​
